Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Simplio.dev ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Simplio.dev is an AI Gateway proxy that routes your API requests to third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek) using your own API keys. We provide request routing, fallback logic, usage analytics, and key management.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • One person or entity may not maintain more than one account.

4. API Keys & Security

  • You provide your own AI provider API keys. Simplio encrypts them with AES-256-GCM and never stores them in plaintext.
  • Your Master Key (sk_simplio_...) is shown once at creation. You are responsible for storing it securely.
  • You must not share your Master Key or use it in client-side code. Treat it like a password.
  • If you suspect unauthorized access, regenerate your Master Key immediately from the dashboard.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, usage quotas, or security measures.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.
  • Use the Service to build a competing product or service.
  • Share accounts or resell access to the Service without written permission.

6. Pricing & Billing

  • The Free plan includes limited requests per month. The Pro plan offers higher limits and additional features.
  • Pro subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel at any time from the dashboard.
  • Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified via email before any price increase.
  • AI provider costs are separate and billed directly by the provider. Simplio does not charge for AI usage.

7. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party AI providers, hosting infrastructure, or force majeure events.

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not log, store, or inspect your AI prompts or responses. Only metadata (tokens, latency, status codes) is retained for your dashboard analytics.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Simplio.dev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Account Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard settings. This will permanently delete all your data and cancel any active subscription.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or dashboard notification at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
